2. when Isuzu box type truck drives at high speed to 78.5km/h the right wheel tyre explodes (detonator and explosive were fastened on the tyre ), the variation of right front wheel before and after exposing is not up to 2%, and vehicle speed and left wheel speed basically did not change, when Toyota crown limousine drives at high speed of 107.4km/s, the right front tyre explodes, the vehicle speed and wheel speed basically did not change.

3.before and after tyre explosion, the vehicle transit from lineal driving at 10km/s within 5 seconds on to perimeter driving of 24 meters, the maximum tangential force exerted on outer rim of steering wheel ( the extreme curve of vehicle driving is according to the requirement of GB 7258-1997 regulation).

Conclusion of test
  1. After fitting with Run-flat device on vehicle, will not affect the normal driving, there is no big change for vehicle gliding distance and driving impedance.
  2. after fitting with Run-flat device on vehicle, there is no change for the steering force of steering wheel, when right front tyre explodes at high speed drive, the maximum tangential force of outer rim of steering wheel is 13N for Isuzu truck and 8N for Toyota limousine, after explosion, in order to keep lineal driving of vehicle, the maximum tangential force exerted on outer rim of steering wheel is only 36N for Isuzu truck and only 13N for Toyota crow limousine.
  3. after fitting with Run-flat device on the vehicle before and after tyre explosion, the maximum tangential force exerted on outer rim of steering wheel transit from lineal to circle driving on cyclonical is much lower than the requirement of GB7258-1997 standard, the change is very small, thus enhanced the safety of vehicle driving and operability when tyre explodes and after explosion.
  4. Fitting with Run-flat device, especially fitting on front wheel, can effectively avoid traffic incident resulted from inclined driving and turning of vehicle caused by tyre explosion.
